City Ranking System:

  • Tier 01: Dot on the Map

    Requirements and Perks:

    Tier 01: Dot on the Map

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F150,000 overall in land value.
    • At minimum F10,000 dedicated to buffers.
    • Parks in visible spots of the city.
    • 30% of the plots must be occupied/sold
    • The city can’t have more than 4 eyesores

      Perks:
    • Tier 1 reward item.
    • City Icon added on HelloMiners World Map


    [+] Tier 02 The Road Less Traveled
    Tier 02: The Road Less Traveled

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F250,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to buffers.
    • Parks in visible spots of the city.
    • Good street/lighting and city design overall
    • At least 1 Public building (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • The city can’t have more than 4 eyesores
    • 40% of the plots must be occupied/sold

    Perks:
    • Tier 2 reward item.
    • Access to the Government Highway system. The Highway will be built and maintained by the HelloMiners Highway Department.


    [+] Tier 03 Public Transport
    Tier 03 : Public Transport

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F350,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to buffers.
    • Parks in visible spots of the city.
    • At least 2 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 50% of the plots must be occupied/sold
    • The city can’t have more than 4 eyesores

    Perks:
    • Tier 3 reward item
    • Access to the Dock and Subway System:

    Docks and Subways
    - Docks can only connect to other docks within a 2000 block radius. This includes docks within the same city and docks in different cities.
    - Docks can only connect to other docks in the same body of water, which can allow cities to span across the water by having a dock on each side.
    - To connect docks to each other, it costs F3000 total. If two different cities are connecting to each other, they can split the cost or decide on another payment method.
    - It takes 10 seconds to teleport to another dock.

    - Subways can only connect to other subways within a 2000 block radius. This includes subways within the same city and subways in different cities.
    - To connect subways to each other, it costs 3000F total. If two different cities are connecting to each other, they can split the cost, or decide on another payment method.
    - It takes 10 seconds to teleport to another subway.

    - A tier 3 city can only have a total of either 6 docks, subways, or a mixture of both. A new connection can be added every 2 tiers at a cost of F6,000.


    [+] Tier 04 Travel Aboard
    Tier 04: Travel Abroad

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F450,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 3 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 60% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 4 eyesores

    Perks:
    • Tier 4 reward item
    • Access to an international airport, complete airport rules listed in Section II of the rules.


    [+] Tier 05 Diplomacy
    Tier 05: Diplomacy

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F550,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 4 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 70% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 4 eyesores

    Perks:
    • Tier 5 reward item
    • Official HelloMiners embassy in a chosen location in the city.

    -Embassies will be used for exchanging Forsals from one city to another. For example, if one city has a bank that has their own city currency, those Notes can be exchanged for HelloMiners Notes at the HelloMiners embassy.
    -Embassies will also be used to recognize cities that are allies with one another. If another cities embassy is located in a city, those cities cannot declare war against each other.
    - Embassies will be designed by players, and therefore must be on a plot size of 15 * 15, and have a required depth of 20 blocks in height.
    - Embassies will be approved by the City Tier Management. Pictures for approval can be uploaded at the City Tier Subform. (http://www.hellominers.com/viewforum.php?f=296)


    [+] Tier 06 Diamond City
    Tier 06: Diamond City

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F700,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 5 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 80% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 4 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport

    Perks:
    • Tier 6 reward item
    • Cities can build up to 5 ATMS in their city. The ATM must look realistic and have to be approved by the City Tier Management in order to have the Forsals for sale there. The city owners can choose which type of Forsals to be sold there and can be sold in their own cities currency.


    [+] Tier 07 Friends and Neighbours
    Tier 07: Friends and Neighbors

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F850,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 6 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can't have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport

    Perks:
    • Tier 7 reward item
    • Similar to the HelloMiners embassy, any city can now build an embassy in another city.

    Tier 08: Investing for the Future

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F1,000,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 7 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport

    Perks:
    • Tier 8 reward item
    • Cities may build their own bank in the city.

      - A bank must be made by the city owners and approved by City Tier Management Team. The requirements for the bank is as follows:
      - Banks must look realistic, it could be modern or traditional.
      - A bank's size must be at least 15x15
      - A bank must have 5 chests (these chests will be replaced with the Forsal chestshops
      - Cities can have their own currency notes. These can be bought for the same price as Forsals, but only redeemed in that city. The currency notes can be exchanged for other currency notes at their respective embassies within that city.

    Tier 09: Best of the Best

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F1,150,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 8 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    Perks:
    • Tier 9 reward item
    • City vs City events.

    - City vs City Economic Competitions: Cities who reach this tier will also be able to enter an economic based competition.

    - These competitions will be announced by the City Tier management in advance. Some examples can be: which city has the nicest building, nicest park, etc.
    - The winner of each event will get a reward item.


    [+] Tier 10 Last One Standing
    Tier 10: Last One Standing

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F1,300,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 9 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    • Multiple districts; suburbs, a city, and a mansion district etc.
      Perks:
    • Tier 10 reward item
    • War Games:

      Code: Select all
      Cities can declare war against other cities in this tier. After two cities had declared war against each other (use the format [url=http://www.hellominers.com/viewtopic.php?f=296&t=22222]here.[/url], a planned date will be announced where and when they will fight.
      -On the day of the fight, each city must have at most 5 different players at the location. The players can use whatever weapons they like (except for Angelic Nightbanes and Jack Frost Swords). Armor must be unenchanted leather and different colors to represent each city.
      -Last team standing will receive a special trophy and receive the entire pot (the money both cities bet prior to the match).
    • Access to a PVP arena:
      -Cities can now make their own PVP arena at this tier and have the PVP flag turned on in it.
      -Cities can now have the option to turn on PVP in the city, or in a district of the city.

    Tier 11: Mega City

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F1,450,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 10 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    • Multiple districts; suburbs, a city, and a mansion district etc.

      Perks:
    • Tier 11 reward item
    • Cities borders will be shown on map


    [+] Tier 12 Mob Bosses
    Tier 12: Mob Bosses

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F1,600,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 10 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    • Multiple districts; suburbs, a city, and a mansion district etc.

    Perks:
    • Tier 12 reward item
    • Custom Mob Shrines:

      -Players will now have the opportunity to make their own mob shrine like the Rocket Silo, Forest Kingdom, or Frozen Castle! City owners will have to make their own detailed area where their cities themed mobs will spawn at. Players will also have to create their own MysticMob. For help on how to make them, you can visit this website or ask some players in game.


    [+] Tier 13 Creativity Works
    Tier 13: Creativity Works

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F1,750,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 10 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    • Multiple districts; suburbs, a city, and a mansion district etc.

    Perks:
    • Tier 13 reward item
    • Cities can now have up to 4 landmarks that show up on the HelloMiners map.
    • Custom Jobs:
      Cities can now have custom jobs that are similar to this. These must be made to be very detailed and impressive.


    [+] Tier 14 Magic Wand
    Tier 14: Magic Wand

    Requirements:
    • At minimum of 1,900,000F in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 10 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    • HelloMiners embassy
    • Multiple districts; suburbs, a city, and a mansion district etc.

      Perks:
    • Tier 14 reward item
    • Players can now choose to change the biome within their Nation at this tier. Off limit biomes: Flower Forest, Mushroom Island, Mushroom Island Shore, The End, Hell (The Nether), Deep Ocean, The Void, Frozen Ocean, and Extreme Hills Edge. A full list of biomes can be found here.


    [+] Tier 15 Independent Nation
    Tier 15: Independent Nation

    Requirements:
    • At minimum F2,050,000 in land value.
    • At minimum F15,000 dedicated to city buffers
    • Parks in most places in the city
    • At least 10 Public buildings (Stadiums, Theaters, Cinemas, Schools, Government Buildings, etc)
    • 85% of the plots must be occupied/sold.
    • The city can’t have more than 3 eyesores
    • A dock system (if they're on the water) or metro system (if not on water)
    • An airport
    • A stadium
    • HelloMiners embassy
    • At least three other embassies besides the HM Embassy in the city.
    • Multiple districts; suburbs, a city, and a mansion district etc.

    Perks:
    • Tier 15 reward item
    • Receives the title of Nation.
    • Smaller cities within 400 blocks of the nation’s borders can join the Nation if both parties agree.

      -A highway (not to be confused with the Government Highways in tier 2) made by the Nation owner will need to connect the two.
      -The highway needs to be at least 10 blocks wide and have at least 20 regioned blocks on each side of the highway. This land must be wild/park land and may not be plots or buildings. 
         - These cities that join the nation are a “state” or “province” of it. Meaning, the state can not further develop their own city tier UNLESS they decide to leave the nation.
      - To make a city part of a nation, they will need to contact the City Tier manager so they can evaluate and approve the connection.



We welcome any ideas you may have regarding this system. Suggestions for new perks, ideas for economic competitions, templates for PVP battles (Make them on the build server, we'll save the schematic).

After all, this is in its' beginning stages and we'd love to flesh it out as much as we can to benefit everyone, from starting cities to ones with over a million forsals of land.
